To make this card, first get all the printables by going to the links above. When you get to the page with the printables, just press 'print' on your browser and they should print at the correct size needed for this project. You will be making a 3D image on the front of the card. The picture below shows what this card looks like from the side angle.

For this project you will also need an 8.5 X 11 inch piece of pink cardstock, a 4.5 X 6.5 inch piece of yellow card stock, scissors and double sided foam tape(or foam dots AKA pop dots). You could use a craft knife and cutting board to cut out the printables if you'd prefer. Below is a picture of double sided foam tape in case you are not familiar with it. We purchased this roll of foam tape(Scotch 3MM mounting tape) at our local grocery store very inexpensively.

Fold the 8.5 X 11 inch piece of card stock in half, crease it well with a thumbnail or blunt end of your scissors, then trim it so it measures 5 X 7 inches(or use a pre-made 5 X 7 blank greeting card). From the excess card stock you trimmed, cut out a rectangle to go behind the greeting(1.5 X 4 inches).
Go ahead and also cut out the printables provided by Valita(place them on the table in order 1-6) and the greeting you'd like to use.

Now you are ready to start assembling the card. Glue the piece marked '1' to the front of the card and also glue down the pink backing for your greeting so you can get everything spaced properly. At this point you could also go ahead and glue the card front(the yellow card stock) to your pink card.

You will now start adding layers to the card front. Pick up piece #2 and turn it over. Cut out small pieces of double sided foam tape and stick them to the back of piece #2. Peel off the green protective cover.

Now, carefully lining up piece #2 with piece #1(which is already glued down to the card front) stick it to the front of your card. Continue doing this with pieces 3-6.

When you get to the last piece, you will see that you only need a tiny sliver of foam tape to place it on your card.

That's it! Sit back and admire your 3D decoupage greeting card.
