To make this card, start with a 5 inch by 6.5 inch blank red greeting card or fold your own from a piece of 10 inch by 6.5 inch card stock. Print the 3D pyramid sheet and printable greetings on heavy white card stock and print the tiles of your choice on plain white printer paper.
First, glue the largest of the 3D prints onto the left side of the card front. Now lining up the next size down with the previous image, glue that in place. Continue until you have glued down all 6 pieces starting with the largest and ending with the smallest. If you'd like you can place foam pads between the layers for added dimension. Here are some more detailed instructions provided by our site member, Angie, on how to assemble the 3D pyramid: http://www.circleofcrafters.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=9202.
Now, cut out the tea bag folding tiles you have picked out and assemble the medallion. The example card above uses 1 inch tiles and the basic kite fold. You can find instructions for the basic kite fold here:

This fold and medallion is just one of many folds you can use for this project. The size tiles you need depends on the fold you pick out since some folds make smaller medallions than others. You can find a variety of links to folds on our message board at:

Now, just cut out the greeting you'd like to use and glue it in place. Add extra embellishments as desired. Here are some card examples based on these instructions and some more free printables.
