Make a Neck Tie Birthday Card:
Place this over the neck tie template provided and tape it down with removable tape(masking tape or blue painter's tape). Make sure you are looking at the back of the card stock, not the front of your design. You may want to write a " B" on the back to make sure you are working on the correct side:
Choose 2 different papers for the neck tie, paper 'A' and paper 'B'. Cut a square from paper 'A' that is larger than the first section you will be covering, then fold over one edge of the paper. Tape this in place as shown below:
Now, cut the rest of papers A and B into 1 - 1/2 inch wide strips then fold them in half longways. Place the first strip down where it is marked B, trim any excess paper and tape it in place. Keep doing this, alternating papers A and B, until you have covered all of the spaces. Always line up your folded edges with the lines in the template:
When you are finished, remove the blue painter's tape and turn your design over. It should look something like this:
To finish the card add 2 strips of paper that are .5" X 7" along either side of the tie. Next, choose one of the " Happy Birthday" printables and glue them both in place. Finally, mount the design to the front of your blank greeting card using glue or double sided tape.
