Make a Santa in Chimney Christmas Card:

This Santa in the chimney Christmas card is fun to make. Start with a 5" X 6.5" blank white greeting card. Cut out a 4.5" X 6" piece of black or dark blue card stock for the background and glue that to the front of your card.
Snow flakes can be stamped or painted, or, if you have snowflake printed paper, you could use that. To paint the snow flakes, dip the tip of a very small pointed paint brush into white paint then gently dab the tip of the paint brush onto the background randomly. You can skip the area that the chimney will cover. Set that aside to dry.
Next cut out the chimney from red cardstock. Use a black pen, marker(one that won't bleed), or black paint to make the lines on the chimney. Make the horizonal lines first, strarting from the bottom, .5" apart. Now make verital lines that are 1" apart as shown in the printable diagram.
Now cut out Santa's hat from red paper(the white areas can be painted in), his beard and mustache from white paper, his face from beige paper, and his mittens from green paper.
The dotted lines on the hat piece indicate where to paint the white areas. Wite-out also works if you don't have white paint. On the piece with Santa's face, the dotted lines show where to place the mustache and the 2 dots show the eye placement.
Glue his beard down first so the bottom tip touches the bottom of the first small brick. Now glue his hands down. Next glue his hat down directly on top of his beard, then his face and then his mustache.
To finish the card, glue down one of the " Merry Christmas" free printables.
