Make a Fall Pumpkin Patch Card with Quilling:
Cut the two largest pumpkins and the smallest pumpkin from one shade of orange and cut the other two pumpkins from a different shade of orange card stock. Cut all the stems from shades of green card stock and glue one stem to each pumkin. The dotted lines on the pumpkin show where to cut so you have room to glue the stem to the pumkin. Draw the lines on the pumkins. Now adhere the pumpkins to the card using pop dots or double sided foam tape to give the card dimension.
Now we just need to add some quilled leaves and vines. First cut 8 strips of green cardstock just 1/8 inch wide. The lengths can vary from 4.5 inches to 7 inches. The smallest leaves and vines in the example card were made from 4.5 inch long strips and the largest vine was made from a 7 inch strip. To do the quilling for the leaves, wrap a strip of paper around a round toothpick, or use a quilling tool if you have one, and continue to wrap it into a ball as shown. Set it down, let it loosen up some, then pinch both sides so it looks like a leaf. Using a toothpick with a dab of glue on the end, glue down the loose end.
To make the vines, roll one end of the strip in one direction then roll the other end in the opposite direction as shown below.
Now just arrange the leaves and vines on the card and glue them in place. Also glue down the greeting and the card is finished.
