Make a Teddy Bear " For You" Card:

Start with a 5" X 7" blank greeting card(a little smaller is okay) or cut and fold your own card from cardstock. For the background, cut two rectangles from red or pink paper. One that is 4.25" X 3" to go behind the teddy bear and one that is .75" X 3" to go behind the wording. Center these on your card and glue them in place. Cut out the " For You" printable and glue this in place.

For the teddy bear, cut his main body from dark brown paper and the other pieces from light brown paper. When cutting his main body, cut along the dotted lines indicated so you can slip the envelope into his arms. Glue the main body down, but DO NOT glue his arms down yet. First, give him the envelope to hold then glue everything in place. Also glue all the light brown pieces to the card where indicated. His face is easy to draw or paint. Just make 2 dots with the tip of your paint brush for his eyes and for his nose and mouth, first make a triangle for his nose then 2 curved lines for his mouth.

Use embellishments you have on hand, peel-offs, or corner punches to further decorate the card if you would like.
