Make a "For My Sweetheart" Card:
From pink card stock, cut three pieces in the following sizes: 1.25 inches X 4.5 inches(cut 2), .75 inches X 3.5 inches(cut 1). These will go behind the printable ivy for the borders on each side of the card and also behind the greeting. Cut out heart shapes 1 and 3 from dark green card stock and heart shapes 2 and 4 from pink card stock. Or, you could substitute matching printed paper instead of the solid colors. Also cut out the printable greeting and ivy panels for the sides of the card.
Now arrange the pieces you have cut out on the card front and glue them in place. Start with the pink strips of card stock and the largest green heart. Place the ivy on top of the pink card stock on each side and the greeting on top of the pink strip at the bottom, center and glue in place. Now arrange heart shapes 2,3, and 4 and glue them in place.
The only thing left to do is add heart shaped leaves to the ivy as shown in the picture. You could use a heart shaped punch for this but hand cutting them will give you different sized and shaped leaves for more interest on the card. The crease made from cutting them by hand makes the leaves look more realistic. Just take a strip of green card stock and fold it in half length-wise. Then cut out a row of half-hearts as shown below. You will need to cut 20 of these.
Now just arrange the mini hearts on your card and glue them in place. Add extra embellishments if desired.
